Alicia has been immersed in Melbourne’s performing arts community her entire life. Growing up with two aunties who own long-running dance studios, she developed a deep understanding of studio culture—from the dedication behind the scenes to the joy of watching students discover their confidence on stage.
That early exposure shaped her career, and for more than 20 years she has worked as a vocal coach and musical theatre teacher, guiding young performers and helping them grow both artistically and personally. Her experience spans every corner of the industry: teaching classes, preparing students for competitions and productions, mentoring young artists, and supporting families through the emotional journey of the arts. Alicia’s passion has always been to create safe, inspiring spaces where performers of all ages can find their voice—literally and figuratively.
Alongside her teaching career, Alicia developed a strong presence in the media side of the performing arts world. After recognising a need for high-quality, reliable, and affordable media services within dance competitions and theatrical events, she expanded her work to include photography, videography, music management, and video critiques. Over the past decade, she has collaborated with competitions, studios, and major organisations across Australia, helping elevate the standard of event media and creating lasting memories for thousands of performers.
What drives Alicia most is connection—connecting with studio owners, teachers, and families, and supporting them in delivering enriching, professional, and memorable experiences for their students. With her unique blend of teaching expertise, industry insight, family heritage in the studio world, and extensive media experience, she brings a holistic understanding of what studios need to thrive in today’s performing arts landscape.
