ASPIRE : Assistant Dance Teaching Program
The Problem Studio Owners Face
As students reach their senior years, many lose motivation, move on, or need new challenges.
At the same time, finding reliable class assistants is hard, and training them properly takes time you don’t have.
Aspire gives your studio a ready-made leadership and assistant teaching pathway, managed entirely by us.
There’s no joining fee, no admin, and no extra work for you.
You simply nominate your assistant students, and we handle the rest: training, support, and assessment.
You get skilled, motivated assistants in your classes, and you get paid when they enrol.
- Zero setup cost
- Commission paid direct to your studio
- Students stay longer and contribute more
- Improved class quality and support for teachers
- Accredited training (Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching) or Non-Accredited option is available. (accredited and non-accredited can be run at the same time)
Step one
Nominate your assistants or senior dancers who would benefit from leadership and teaching skills.
Step two
We train them online, and they assist you in class. We handle the learning content, support, and assessments.
Step three
Your studio receives commission for every enrolled student. You gain reliable, confident assistants who lift the standard in your classrooms.
Retention
Senior dancers stay engaged, valued, and motivated because they finally have a leadership role and a clear path to follow.
Revenue
Each enrolment returns money to your studio through our commission structure. You earn without adding extra work.
Time-saving
We deliver the entire program. No content creation. No training sessions. No admin. No marking. You simply nominate your dancers and enjoy the results.
Quality assistants
Your teachers gain helpers who understand how to manage behaviour, support younger learners, and assist safely and professionally.
Professional credibility
You can proudly promote that your studio offers a nationally recognised training pathway under an accredited RTO.

This appears after all business benefits, exactly where it should be.
What your assistants will learn
Aspire trains your assistants in the skills every studio wants to see in the classroom.
They learn
• how to support teachers effectively
• how to communicate with younger students
• safe dance practices and workplace expectations
• foundational teaching techniques
• leadership and confidence
• classroom behaviour management
• professionalism and teamwork
This means your assistants arrive prepared, capable, and confident, without you spending time training them yourself.
Program structure
Aspire includes
• a nationally recognised Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching
• online learning modules
• studio-based tasks
• mentoring and support
• assessments managed fully by DTO
Everything is coordinated by our team, so you never need to teach, assess, or manage content.
Give your teens the gift of accreditation, leadership skills, and purpose while building a stronger studio team.
Aspire gives students real classroom experience while completing the CUA30320 Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching. You’ll build teaching confidence, leadership skills and an understanding of safe dance practices within your own studio.
Aspire is completed through a blend of online lessons, mentoring, and in-studio experience under your studio’s supervision, with full support from DTO’s training team.
Aspire suits dancers aged 14 and over who want to begin their journey as assistant teachers or future educators in dance.
Most studios deliver Aspire across one academic year, but pacing can be flexible depending on each student’s training schedule.
Students usually complete Aspire through their local DTO Partner Studio. If your studio isn’t yet partnered, reach out and DTO can help connect you to one nearby.
